Dealing with error occurred after installation of cumulative security update

When you try to open Microsoft Outlook Express or the Windows Address Book after installing cumulative security update, you receive an error message saying:
Unable to open address book. Address book may not be installed correctly.
Usually, this happens due to corruption in address book. Address books that are created in older versions of Outlook Express have this kind of corruption issue and in earlier version this issue is not detected.

How to resolve this issue (Outlook Express Repair Software)

    To resolve this issue, you will need to follow these steps:

  • Uninstall cumulative security update 911567. To remove this update, use the Add or Remove Programs item in Control Panel. System administrators can also use the Spuninst.exe utility to remove this security update.
